Fit
Bra fit, briefly
We are not a fitting room. These are the four checks that catch most mistakes before you click out. For half sizes and a proper quiz, go to ThirdLove.
01
The band does the lifting
On a new bra, fasten the loosest hook. The band should be snug and level. If you are riding it up your back, the band is too loose — not the straps.
02
The gore should sit
The center panel between the cups should rest against the sternum. If it floats, the cups are too small or the style is wrong for your shape.
03
Straps are for stay, not support
Digging straps usually mean the band is doing too little. Loosen the straps first; size the band second.
04
Wrinkle or spill
Wrinkles in the cup — go down a cup or try a different shape. Spill at the neckline or underarm — go up a cup, or look at a half size.
